Posted in Uncategorised by Jenni Hosen on 29th April 2022

To mark the 70 years of dedicated and thoughtful service Her Majesty has given, this Platinum Jubilee Parade will be an informal, joyous celebration and thanksgiving.

The Parade will be open to one and all. There will be singing and playing of  ‘With a little help from my Friends’ – if you belong to an association, club or society, church, chapel or parish, bring a banner.  (An idea of numbers would be helpful for planning purposes – please contact mellisa@truro.gov.uk).  The Parade will start in St George’s Road at 12.30 pm and end outside the cathedral with a short all-faiths & none service.  Do come along and help make this opening event of Cornwall’s Jubilee Celebration tuneful, colourful and memorable.
