Cornwall is full of outstanding individuals, voluntary groups and businesses: they are an absolutely vital part of our community and essential for the future of us all.

To highlight their work, thank them for what they have done and encourage others to emulate them, HM The King gives national awards to recognise their work. Provided they are considered sufficiently outstanding by the independent national committees that assess them, any individual or any organisation can receive one. This part of the website gives information and advice on how to make nominations. The Lord-Lieutenant is really keen to encourage nominations from all parts of the community and will provide advice where he and the Lieutenancy can.
