The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to welcome HRH The Duke of Cornwall on his trip to the Duchy on 9 & 10 May, when he visited Nansledan & Fistral Beach in Newquay and then St Mary’s on the Isles of Scilly.

The picture below shows HRH discussing the plans for the St Petrocs Housing development at Nansledan.  The Duchy of Cornwall has given land for the project and the Duke of Cornwall’s Benevolent Fund is providing the capital to build 24 homes for local people experiencing homelessness, with support, to seek to break the cycle of homelessness in the Newquay area.
